Testing of Online Banking Solution

One of our clients wanted to move to online banking solution and decided to web-enable their desktop application. We were engaged to do functionality testing, performance testing and load testing of the new application.

Software/Tool:
  • JUnit
  • e-Test suite
  • Apache JMeter
  • Perl
  • Bugzilla

  • Setting up of testing environment
  • Derive list of scenarios to review requirement SRS and find gaps.
  • Test plan is developed. Features that needs to be tested and those not to be tested are identified.
  • Strategy is determined. What will be the pass/fail criteria, how much script will be automated etc.
  • Huge amount of data used for testing. Scrubbing and scrambling of data using our in-house developed solution using standard algorithm.

Our team of Quality Assurance worked with the client's team in testing the solution.
