is an iPhone/iPod touch based application which has been developed considering the losing prevalence of books vis-à-vis the emergence of gadgets. This application is handy, portable and durable as compared to the obsolete voluminous books/booklets of Vedas and Upanishads.
It allows the iPhone/iPod users to pick from a list of deities’ names to find the specific mantra to praise or evoke the respective deity. Moreover, there are multiple mantras for some of the deities. Users can also navigate across various mantras and deities with the help of previous and next buttons and can also easily scroll along a given page.
Excerpts and Mantras from the ancient scriptures are depicted in bi-linguistic text (Hindi as well as English) along with vivid graphics and images of the respective sacred deities of Hindu Mythology.
It is developed using iPhone SDK 2.2 with MAC OS X version 10.5 and has been implemented using object oriented Objective-C
application has been deployed on App store and is easily downloadable from there.
